I adore novel-length fiction but there is something delicious about short stories. And so, I welcome you to join me in the adventure of a myriad of worlds. Along the way I hope you will meet characters that you would welcome as friends, others that challenge your worldview – heroes and villains, and those that are a complex mix of both.
The joy of the short story is that it frees the writer to explore many genres – from historical drama to far-flung science fiction, from gritty adventure to romance. I’ve never liked labels. Isn’t it so much better to simply embrace the freedom of a good story?
